Bratislava International Airport
The M.R. Stefanik Aiport Bratislava is the principal international airport of the Slovak Republic with day-and-night (24 hours) operation.
It is situated 9 km to the north-east from the inner city, in the area with the elevation above sea-level of 132 m, spreading on the area of 477 hectares. The climatic conditions of the airport are particularly good and the location within the Central European region is favorable. It serves scheduled and non-scheduled air services on domestic as well as the international flights.
Current system of airport runways enables landing of all airlines actually used worldwide. Due to sufficient capacity and most advanced technological equipment, the airport can be compared with current European standard.
